Different regions, different food. Have you ever wanted try Ethiopian? In this club, we will be exploring foods from different nations around the world. We will start with familiar cuisines such as Japanese and then working way up to Ethiopian. Although I have some restaurants in mind, the group will decide where we ultimately go for food.
However, instead of focusing at just restaurants in the downtown core, we will be all over Richmond, Burnaby, and Vancouver. Not all nice restaurants are located in one location, sometimes it is necessary to travel in order to try out some nice restaurants. Another benefit is you will get to know one good restaurant hopefully in every specific area, just in case you end up going to that certain area for other events. Prices range from 15-25 dollars we will try to alternative between cheap and pricier places. Both lunch and dinner events will occur depending on when the restaurants can accommodate a large group of people.
Time: Friday or Saturday Nights, Sunday noon hour for more expensive restaurants (usually cheaper at lunch)
Price : $15-25
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Anson, a third year chemistry major and this is my second year in food society, first as a mini-club leader. I am a big Canucks fan and it is very common to see me in Canucks clothing, that or Nice Guy t-shirts, I am a big fan of Wong Fu. My favorite food is anything with meat other than pork. I am known to not eat “rabbit food.” I also enjoy karaoke and hopefully perhaps we will go together as a club one day .
